Regular maintenance helps your electric surfboard perform better and last longer. After every ride, a few simple steps can protect the board, battery, motor, and controller.
Saltwater can damage metal parts and electrical connections. Rinse the board, propulsion system, and controller with fresh water after each use. Dry everything carefully before storage.
Inspect the battery and connectors for water, dirt, or damage. Always use the correct charger and avoid charging the battery immediately after riding. Let it cool down first.
Check the jet or propeller area for sand, weeds, fishing line, or other debris. Remove anything that could block the motor or reduce performance.
Keep the electric surfboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not leave the battery fully empty for long periods. For extended storage, follow the recommended battery charge level.
Before entering the water, make sure all covers are secured, the foot straps are adjusted, and the controller is working correctly.
Proper care improves safety, protects performance, and helps you enjoy more reliable rides on the water.
